ENSEMBLE ARTS PHILLY, IN ASSOCIATION WITH OUTBACK PRESENTS, WELCOMES COMEDY POWERHOUSES KEVONSTAGE & THAT CHICK ANGEL: HERE’S THE THINGMARCH 30, 2024, AT THE MILLER THEATER

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (February 6, 2024) – Ensemble Arts Philly, in association with Outback Presents, welcomes KevOnStage and That Chick Angel in their comedy tour Here’s The Thing at the Miller Theater on March 30, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. Here's The Thing is a lively and delightfully refreshing podcast co-hosted by Kevin Fredericks, also known as 'KevOnStage', and Angel Laketa Moore, commonly known as 'That Chick Angel'. The podcast offers a vibrant spot where comedy, culture, and conversation meet. Bringing it on the road, their tour is filled with music, comedy, utter hilarity, and is often described as a “live comedy show, with a little podcast.”

In every episode, Kevin and Angel dive deep into a broad spectrum of topics, from relationships and parenthood to health and fitness, social issues and the complexities of everyday life. The duo brings a unique mix of humor, insight, and raw honesty that keeps listeners coming back for more, often incorporating their faith, personal experiences, and the African American perspective. It's a blend of entertaining banter, hearty laughs, relatable stories, and wisdom-filled discussions that both educate and uplift their audience while keeping them thoroughly entertained.

“KevOnStage and That Chick Angel’s new tour is a must-see addition to Philadelphia’s vibrant comedy scene,” said Frances Egler, Vice President of Theatrical Programming and Presentations. “Laughter is a great convener, bringing us together to share moments across our different backgrounds and life experiences. We applaud these two for sharing their hilarity so openly and welcome their tour to our Miller Theater for the first time.”
