Kimmel Cultural Campus Presents

Lauren Graham with her "Have I Told You This Already?" Tour

September 21, 2023

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (September 21, 2023) – The Kimmel Cultural Campus presents actress and New York Times best-selling author, Lauren Graham, with her Have I Already Told You This? book tour on November 16, 2023, at 7:00pm in the Campus’ Perelman Theater.

Lauren Graham, best known for her role as Lorelai Gilmore in the long-running and beloved hit Gilmore Girls, has graced countless television screens with her quick-witted characters and hilarious talk show appearances, earning a reputation as a pop culture icon who always has something to say. In her latest book, Have I Told You This Already?, Graham combines her signature sense of humor with down-to-earth storytelling. Graham shares personal stories about her life and career—from her early days spent pounding the pavement while waitressing in New York City, to living on her aunt’s couch during her first Los Angeles pilot season, to thoughts on aging gracefully in Hollywood.

“Lauren Graham has long been sharing her comedic chops with the world, and her foray into the writing world has only amassed a larger following of adoring fans who see themselves reflected in her anecdotes,” said Frances Egler, Vice President of Theatrical Programming & Presentations on the Kimmel Cultural Campus. “We look forward to hosting this evening of storytelling, complete with Graham’s signature down-to-earth style.”

Soon after the hit show Gilmore Girls, Graham paved her way to the Broadway stage as Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls. With her stay on Broadway, she continued pursing numerous roles in film and TV. Along the way she added author to her list of titles with her debut novel Someday, Someday, Maybe in 2013. Today she works as an executive producer and stars in the Disney+ show The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers. She is a three-time New York Times Best Selling Author with her titles In Conclusion, Don’t Worry About It; Talking as Fast as I Can; and Someday, Someday, Maybe.

Other featured upcoming performances on the Kimmel Cultural Campus include Sir Patrick Stewart: Making it So (October 3, 2023, Perelman Theater); Aunty Donna: The Magical Dead Cat Tour (October 7, 2023, Perelman Theater); Nurse Blake: Shock Advised Tour (October 14, 2023, Miller Theater); Loreena McKennitt: The Visit Revisited 30th Anniversary Tour (October 20, 2023, Miller Theater); The Moth Mainstage (October 21, 2023, Miller Theater); A Tribute to Jerry Blavat (October 21, 2023, Academy of Music); An Evening with the Late John Cleese (October 25, 2023, Academy of Music); Steve Martin & Martin Short (October 27, Academy of Music); Jimmy Carr: Terribly Funny (November 11, 2023, Miller Theater); Ira Glass and Etgar Keret (November 15, 2023, Miller Theater) and David Spade: Catch Me Inside (December 2, 2023, Miller Theater).
