KIMMEL CULTURAL CAMPUS PRESENTS ONE OF THE WORLD’S BEST TRIBUTE BANDS, RUMOURS OF FLEETWOOD MAC, BRINGING MUSICAL HISTORY BACK TO LIFE, NOVEMBER 7, 2023

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (September 21, 2023) – The Kimmel Cultural Campus presents the world’s finest tribute to one of rock and roll’s most iconic groups, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, at the Miller Theater on November 7, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. With an incredible stage presence and an authentic recreation of the music, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac is not to be missed.

Personally endorsed by Fleetwood Mac founding member, Mick Fleetwood, the tribute group has been performing to sold-out crowds all over the world, recreating the music and energy of Fleetwood Mac’s legendary live shows.

“Experience the iconic spirit of Fleetwood Mac like never before with Rumours of Fleetwood Mac, a meticulous recreation of the magic and music of an era gone by,” said Frances Egler, Vice President of Theatrical Programming & Presentations on the Kimmel Cultural Campus. “Whether a longtime fan or a new explorer of Fleetwood Mac’s iconic sound, this show is a must-see journey back in time, proving the music is as relevant now as ever.”

Fleetwood Mac have sold more than 120 million records worldwide, making them one of the world’s best-selling bands. The iconic British-American rock band went through a revival when Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined Fleetwood Mac, giving the band a more pop-rock sound. Their 1975 album, Rumours, produced four U.S. top 10 singles and remained at number one on the chart for 31 weeks. It also won a Grammy® Award for Album of the Year in 1978. In 1979, the group was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and in 1998, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Rumours has sold more than 40 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling albums in history.

Channeling the spirit of Fleetwood Mac at their very best, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac offers a unique opportunity for fans, both old and new, to rediscover the songs and performances that have ensured Fleetwood Mac’s place as one of the most loved groups of all time. The band has been praised by critics and fans alike for their ability to capture the spirit of Fleetwood Mac’s music and to transport audiences back to the heyday of the band’s career. Rumours of Fleetwood Mac consists of a group of musicians who hold Fleetwood Mac very close to their hearts and who endeavor to perform their music as authentically as possible: Allan Cosgrove, Jess Harwood, Emily Gervers, James Harrison, Scott Poley, Etienne Girard, and Dave Goldberg.
