KIMMEL CULTURAL CAMPUS PRESENTS ‘QUEENS OF CHRISTMAS’ IN THEIR HILARIOUS AND BRAND-NEW EDITION OF THE JINKX & DELA HOLIDAY SHOWDECEMBER 8, 2023

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (November 1, 2023) – The Kimmel Cultural Campus, in association with BenDeLaCreme Presents, brings the spectacular and internationally acclaimed holiday event, The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show, on Friday December 8, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. at the Campus’ Miller Theater. Another holiday season brings another year of fabulous spectacle, whip-smart comedy, and annual favorites. The iconic Jinkx and DeLa are back to uplift your holiday season with brand new songs as these two queens set out to create a classic Christmas show but can’t agree on how they will pull it off.

"Effortless comedic timing, camaraderie, and charm mix in The Jinkx and DeLa Holiday Show, a delightful addition to our Campus’ holiday offerings,” said Frances Egler, Vice President of Theatrical Programming & Presentations on the Kimmel Cultural Campus. “This year, we have something for everyone, from the magic of Jinkx and DeLa, to the gifts of orchestral music, to spectacular cirque.”

The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show marks the latest in a multi-year creative partnership between the two queens, which includes their most recent on-screen collaboration for the Hulu competition series, Drag Me to Dinner. Jinkx and DeLa’s co-written holiday productions have grown into a worldwide phenomenon, spawning the 2019 tour, All I Want for Christmas is Attention; a Hulu holiday hit, The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Special (2020); and The Return of the Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show, LIVE! (2021), which performed for sold-out audiences across the U.S., UK, and Canada.

Jinkx Monsoon, RuPaul’s Drag Race winner and “internationally tolerated” cabaret icon, has taken over the entertainment industry as an award-winning actress, acclaimed vocalist, and theatre sensation. Monsoon has toured the world performing her original cabaret shows with music partner Major Scales, including highly acclaimed shows like The Ginger Snapped; The Vaudevillians, which became a hit off-Broadway sensation; and their most recent production Together, Together Again, Again.

BenDeLaCreme (DeLa) is known for her appearances on RuPaul’s Drag Race and combining her background in performing and visual arts with a love of spectacles, glamour, and Saturday morning cartoons. DeLa secured a spot among the show’s “15 Fan Favorites of all Time.” After being crowned “Miss Congeniality” on Season 6 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, she returned to compete on the third season of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, where she garnered more challenge wins than any other competitor in the show’s history. DeLa has since dazzled crowds through the Americas, Europe, and Australia.
