Ensemble Arts Presents in association with WestBeth Entertainment

Tommy Tiernan

Tommedian
October 26, 2024  at 8:00PM

Tommy Tiernan’s brand new show is a fun-fueled trip through the comic imagination of one of the best comedians in the world.

This is a wild, uninhibited, and fiercely physical display of stand-up. A madcap parade of characters, memories, and ridiculous flights of fancy. Theatrical, poetical, and slightly unhinged.

Tiernan has been performing stand-up comedy for close to thirty years, having played across the globe from Moscow and Moosejaw and every corner of Irelands 32 counties, from Tory Island to the Wexford Opera House with legendary record-breaking ticket sales. He recently appeared as ‘Da Gerry” in hit tv show Derry Girls and in the TV adaptation of the bestselling book Conversations with Friends and hosts his own critically acclaimed improvised chat show The Tommy Tiernan Show on Ireland’s RTE 1.

Tiernan can drop in turns of phrase so exquisite that you could call them a sound installation and enter them for the Turner prize.
